Gerald Roznovsky, Brazoswood High School class of 1975, will be inducted Friday, November 9, 2018. Mr. Roznovsky is a lifetime area resident and a retiree after 35+ years as a Senior Business Consultant and Human Performance Leader for The Dow Chemical Company. After graduating from college, Mr. Roznovsky returned to the area to raise his family of three children in the community that he and his wife Patti grew up in. Mr. Roznovsky is also a small business owner and a founding Partner in CZ6 which is an economic development consulting business. Mr. Roznovsky served on City Council from 2005 – 2011 and then left office due to term limits. During those years of service he served as Mayor Pro-Tem and served on the Houston-Galveston Area Council Transportation Board. Mr. Roznovsky also served as the Council Liaison to the Parks Board, Library Board, Keep Lake Jackson Beautiful Board, Planning Commission, Zoning Board of Adjustment, Lake Jackson Economic Development Corporation, Animal Shelter Board, Traffic Commission, Senior Citizen Commission, Hike & Bike Committee, and the City Charter Review Committee. He served as Chairman of the 2011 City Charter Review Committee and as the Vice Chairman of the Lake Jackson 70th Year Celebration. He was elected back on to City Council in May of 2013. In 2006, Mr. Roznovsky was asked by the Brazoria County Commissioners to be an Executive Board member of the community health center now known as Stephen F. Austin Community Health Center. He continues to serve on the SFACHC Executive Board. Mr. Roznovsky and his wife Patti continue to give back to the community by providing their time and donations of funds to improve the community and lives of individuals.
