This is the image for the news article titled BISD Conducts Emergency Planning with Local MunicipalitiesAt Brazosport ISD, emergency planning is an ongoing process in collaboration with its local municipalities. BISD Administrative Services met late November with Lake Jackson, Freeport and Clute Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Directors. This team reviewed maps of every campus and discussed designated areas for unified command posts, EMS staging, law enforcement staging, reunification, helicopter landing zones, and public information/media.

Once finalized, these designated areas will be notated on each of the campus maps and shared with first responders from all the municipalities, increasing clarity among all emergency responders upon immediate arrival to any of the schools within the district. Attendees commended BISD for their preparation, collaboration, and multi-agency emergency planning.
