The Brazoswood High School Symphonic Band has been selected for the 2017 Sudler Flag of Honor by the John Philip Sousa Foundation. This prestigious national award is reserved for only the very best high school concert bands in the nation, recognizing excellence over a period of several years. The band, under the instruction of Band Director Brian Casey, Assistant Directors Martin Montoya and DJ Eisenhart and Percussion Director Adam Swan, will be honored by officials with the John Philip Sousa Foundation on Monday, May 8 at 7 p.m., during a concert, ceremony and presentation of the “Sudler Flag” at The Clarion at Brazosport College.
